DEPUTY SALES DIRECTOR/ CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGER

Our furniture group is growing fast, and we want to strengthen our sales organization. We are seeking a deputy sales director / customer relationship manager with reference to our Danish sales director. We see the deputy sales director / customer relationship manager as the person taking over the position as sales director when our current sales director retires.

We offer this position for an active result-oriented person, who will be responsible together with our sales director for active sales and customer relationship including development of new models together with our customers.

We expect you can work from your home address which could be in Denmark or in one of the other Scandinavian countries, but you shall be prepared to stay in our factory in Vilnius every third week and in between if needed for customer visits.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES TOGETHER WITH OUR SALES DIRECTOR

  • Create and maintain customer relationships
  • Active sales focused on long-term cooperation with customers
  • Develop sales and PD strategy and ensuring its implementation
  • Initiate the development of creative and innovative solutions to meet client needs in a differentiated manner
  • Manage relationship with existing and new clients, anticipate and identify issues & problems in order to ensure swift resolution
  • Budgeting and enforcement
  • Team building: goals setting and their implementation, monitoring staff development, motivation, assistance in overcoming emerging challenges

REQUIRED SKILLS G QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 5 years of experience in active sales and customer relationship management
  • Work experience in the furniture industry (big advantage)
  • Knowledge of product development an advantage
  • Strong skills in strategy formulation and implementation
  • Strong team and independent work skills focused on the implementation of the final goal
  • Excellent cooperation skills with clients and internal departments of the company
  • Intrinsic motivation, hunger for challenges and generation of new ideas
  • Energy, passion, and enthusiasm
  • Languages: One of the Scandinavian languages and English
  • Computer literate
  • Many travels days

Our two companies are upholstery factories in Lithuania with a Danish main shareholder. One company produces sofas, sofa beds, and chairs for furniture chains and web-based customers all over Europe with main customers based in Northern Europe. The other company produces high design upholstery products for brand owners in mainly Denmark, and the products are sold all over the world. The companies have common management and administration in Vilnius. The company employs around 600 in 4 production factories – the main factory with 350 employees in Vilnius.

Both companies are well-known among customers for being trustworthy producers, delivering right quality within promised lead time, and at competitive prices. Our customers are leading companies within their business.
